Eliza Turns TWO!!

On June 1st Eliza had her second birthday. We cannot believe she is so old or that time has gone so fast. She amazes me everyday with the things she learns and says. She loves to sing and dance, the ABC's, animals, and Dora, to name a few. She is getting excited for her new baby sister and loves to talk about what she will do with her when she gets home..."rockabye the new baby," "put the new baby in the swing, and push her." We are excited to have these two little sisters get to know each other. She had a fun day for her birthday, opening presents and eating cake, not to mention all the frosting she ate while we were making it. We love our little girl!!

                                                                      New jammies.

Eliza got a trike for her birthday, she hasn't quite figured out pedaling, but she likes to sit on it.

Justin had a little too much fun with the balloons.

                New playdoh.

My Amazing Husband

So when Eliza and I got back from the second half of our Idaho trip this was waiting in Eliza's room. Justin had started building the bed before we left, but finished it and managed to get it upstairs by himself while we were gone. He also went and got the Dora sheets and blanket, Eliza kept saying, "Dora bed, dora bed." This picture doesn't do the bed justice. Before we got married I did not know about Justin's talent for building things. But he just keeps amazing me. He has built us a kitchen table, a changing table, toy/book shelf, a toy kitchen for Eliza, and now this bed. We found a picture on the pottery barn website, and Justin took it made it toddler size, and added sides. There are also three large drawers underneath. Sorry to go on and on, but well I'm in awe.

Finally Catching Up

Well I'm finally catching up, sorry for my lapse. It's amazing how fast time flies.
Well we'll start with a weekend getaway in May when Grandma and Grandpa Welch had a meeting in Florida. Great for us. Thanks so much for the great weekend in the sun. Eliza had a blast in the sand and sun, and playing with grandparents.
