Eliza's Purple Shoes

Here are some shots of Eliza in her apron and "purple bow shoes." For the first couple weeks after we got her shoes she would put them on as soon as she woke up ever morning. She is really good at walking, and running in them. She is also playing with Justin's tape measure, she calls it her numbers and likes to find the "8's" while she holds it up to things.

Fourth of July

Here are some shots of Eliza in her Fourth of July outfit, somehow the camera didn't make it with us the rest of the day. We had a blast going to Yorktown with some great friends from our ward. It was awesome being in the place of the final battle of the revolution. There were fife and drums, a great parade, and fireworks from the car after a mad dash in a downpour. Thanks to our friend Rebecca for the great shot of us soaking wet, somehow Eliza managed to fall asleep.

Umbrellas

Eliza loves umbrellas. Whenever she sees it raining she requests her red umbrella and a walk outside. So cute.

Grandma Lee Comes to Visit

In June Justin's mom came to visit for a few weeks. She stayed with his sister Kara up by D.C. and with us part of the time. We had lots of fun: hanging out with cousins, a trip to see the monuments in D.C., visits to Jamestown, Monticello, and Yorktown....not to mention ice cream. Thanks again Susan for all the fun and great food!!
