The Virginia Living Museum

One day in June we checked out the Virginia Living Museum in Norfolk, VA. It was a lot of fun. The girls are very into caterpillars and butterflies and they had a really neat exhibit that talked all about the life cycle of the butterfly as well as a butterfly garden. Eliza was really good at getting them to land on her.

Eliza's Birthday

For Eliza's birthday she had planned to go ice skating for months. Her cousins and grandparents were able to come down and we all had a blast.

These last two pictures are from the girl's cousin Benjamin's baptism. We miss having them closer to us.

Last Visits With Friends

So all of our medical and dental school friends who had been in our ward with us all four years left the end of May or soon after. We had a great four years and miss them. We got to go down one day and hang out at the beach house they had rented.

Here is our friend Samantha. She and her family lived out our back door all four years. We miss them.
Here is a park we stopped at after the beach trip.

Some random ones

Justin made me this cool giraffe for Mother's Day to mark the girls' heights.

Lurray Caverns

Justin's mom Susan and her husband JA took us to the Lurray Caverns. They were so beautiful and amazing. Some of Kara's kids came too, so the kids had a great time. Thanks again guys!

The Great Frog Catcher

While doing our ward clean up of Belle Isle, Eliza found a frog.

.....not a prince.

Easter and the Circus

We had a great Easter weekend which also included the easter egg hunt at Maymont and the Barnum and Bailey Circus. It was awesome. The girls still talk about it and loved playing circus for the months that followed.

Major Updates ahead....Spring
